The only reason we gave the House GOP a huge majority in Nov. 2010 was so they could defund ObamaCare. And they laughed in our face. Hated the people we gave them. Wouldn't allow defunding to be mentioned on the floor. Stuck the defunding bill in a GOP controlled committee where it was "deadlocked" indefinitely.

Published shortly after the November 2010 elections. Evidence if needed that the GOP was nearly extinct after Nov. 2008, didn't deserve the votes we gave them and knew it. We knew we'd have to watch them closely but it turns out not to have mattered. The GOP has merged with the democrats, loves the democrats. Boehner in particular was thrilled that Obama was re-elected. Which is fine if you want a one party country with no checks and balances..
