Trump must understand 'the Russia thing' will never end. It's a cash cow, has given new life to media outlets near bankruptcy. Trump is guilty of nothing yet he acts like a man begging to get out of jail, his lawyers seeking a deal with Mueller to end a "probe" about something that doesn't exist. Trump can either accept this and forget about it, never mention it again. Or he can drag the country through this for the rest of his time in office

"The Russia thing" is obviously on his mind 24/7. He's desperate for it to end. So desperate he's crawling to Mueller like a man in jail begging to get out. Has he envisioned that the action of his begging could be dragged out for weeks or months, that people like Rod Rosenstein-whom Trump hired--will no doubt have views on whether such "probes" can or should have end dates negotiated while the "probe" is ongoing? First and foremost, President Trump must understand the "probe" will never end. It will continue as long as he's alive. It´s a cash cow, has brought media organizations back from the brink of bankruptcy. As to his lawyers: He must fire all of them ASAP. Under no circumstances should Trump ever meet with Mueller or communicate with him for any reason. His lawyers must stop all communication with the "probe." There are serious crimes associated with RussiaGate such as those involving the FBI and the FISA Court, but none of those involve Trump. Trump must never again mention the ´Russia thing,´ even in a joking way, even if he thinks no one´s listening. He gives life to something that doesn't exist. Let Mueller investigate for the rest of his life-who cares? When Trump posts anything about the non-existent matter on twitter, it makes him look like he´s sweating it out. If a report comes out and it doesn't say Trump is guilty, this shouldn't be considered good news by Trump and posted as such on his twitter.

"Attorneys for President Trump are reportedly considering asking special counsel Robert Mueller to set a hard end date for his investigation into [alleged] Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election as one of the preconditions for an interview with president.

While Trump's lawyers remain split on the terms of such a deal, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, they also want Mueller to agree to parameters on the scope of such an interview. 

One idea being floated is that Mueller would agree to wrap up the probe within 60 days of interviewing Trump.

Conversations between Mueller and Trump’s attorneys are reportedly only just beginning. 

Trump has said he is "looking forward" to speaking with the special counsel's team, but his lawyers have repeatedly emphasized that he would only agree under certain conditions.

Legal experts interviewed by the Journal expressed skepticism Mueller would agree to the idea.

“You can’t put a timeline on these things,” said former federal prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg. “Someone could walk in the door on the day before their proposed deadline and say, ‘I’ve got some information that’s going to blow your minds.’ … [And] Mueller’s going to say, ‘Oh, too bad, the deadline’s tomorrow?’”

On Wednesday, The New York Times reported that Trump has asked...former witnesses interviewed by the special counsel about their experiences and what they discussed. 

The scope of Mueller's probe has reportedly expanded to include possible obstruction of justice, as well as the business ties of Trump and members of his family.

The Journal reports that Trump lawyers expect any questions for the president to focus on the firings of former FBI Director James Comey and former national security adviser Michael Flynn, who in December pleaded guilty to lying to federal investigators.

Comey says he was fired after Trump asked him to back off a Justice Department investigation into Flynn.

Trump has on multiple occasions derided Mueller's probe as a "witch hunt" that has the world "laughing" at the U.S."
